This is an AT hike with plenty of rocks, hills and stream crossing. The hike begins with a 1.8 mile climb with the reward of great view of the valley. We will continue the ups and downs and rocks that are the AT in Pennsylvania. The descent starts with a tricky trail in, around and over Sands Springs; but the last mile is a beautiful wooded, rocks-free trail. 72 mile drive with tolls, plus shuttle. Possible ice cream stop on the way home. Meet at Brandywine Town Center for a 7 a.m. departure. For more information or to meet at the trailhead, call leader.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of I-95 & US-202. Proceed north on US-202 for 5.1 mi. Turn right onto DE-92 (Naaman's Rd) & continue 0.6 mi. Enter the shopping center at the first left, main entrance. Turn right and then left at the first road past the pond. Then make 3 rights to circle the lot and enter.
LOCATION NOTES:
The Brandywine Towne Center Park and Ride is located across from the pond and the Community Center parking lot.
