RULES
> We invite non-members to participate in two activities of their choice, at no cost before joining.
> After that, each adult must purchase their own membership.
> Each membership includes one website logon based on the member’s own, unique email address.
> Family members under the age of 21 are very welcome to attend club events, when accompanied by an adult member.
> Release forms must be signed just before each event & participation is at your own risk.
> Adult members are expected to assist in club work.
> Leashed pets may only be brought to events, with explicit permission of the event leader.
> Since all events are local, additional security has been applied that only permits website access from the USA. The goal is to protect the club’s website against international hacking attempts.
> By joining, you are consenting to the storage of your personal contact & club activity preference data.
> Demonstration of swimming and paddling skills are required before participation in WTC paddling events. Training and testing are available for a fee.
TERM
> Initial memberships last for one year from the date of joining or rejoining.
> Renewals extend the membership for one year.
RENEWAL
> Members must renew and pay before their membership expires to participate in club events & have continued access to the Members-only sections of the website.
> Annual renewals extend the membership for one year.
> Renewal reminders are emailed at 30, 15, & 7 days prior to your due date.
> If renewal payment is not received prior to your expiration date, your membership will be deactivated automatically by the computer system.
$18 YEARLY FEE INCLUDES
> Membership in our outdoors club that’s been in existence since 1939.
> Welcomed access to attend all 400+ club events.
> Logon to the entire website: including member-only sections, contacts, & notifications.
> Access to online real-time event listings by calendar, bulletin, etc.
> Access to the searchable online members directory.
> Payments can be accepted by online PayPal or Major Credit Card. Successful payments will result in immediate full access.
> Payments can alternatively be accepted by mailed paper Check. Full access will result at the time your check is received.
