Welcome to Our Cycling Activities!

Cycling activities take place every Tuesday and on the 1st & 3rd Fridays, from April through November, weather permitting. Rides range from 20-35 miles in length on Tuesdays and 10-20 miles on Fridays. Routes use lesser trafficked roads whenever possible. Some rides are flat, others more rolling to hilly.  The ride description indicates what to expect.  Some rides include lunch, either during the ride, or at the end. Participants are encouraged to contact the ride leader for additional information on any ride.

All riders must wear helmets. Members generally use road bikes. The average speed is 10-12  mph on Fridays and 11-14 mph on Tuesdays. Rides normally start between 9-10 am, at the discretion of the leader. The leader is expected to have recently scouted the route to note any detours or changes that might be necessary. Updates and changes to scheduled rides, and information on rides not included in the WTC Bulletin are posted via the WTC Forum. Please contact the Cycling Coordinator with ideas for new rides or corrections to existing cue sheets.
