HIKING Saturday Long Hiking -- for 6-8 or 12-14 miles on 07/02/2016 @ 9:00am-3:00pm -- Meet at the Nature Center Parking lot (on the left) by 9:00 a.m. Choose between two hiking loops: 6-8 or 12-14 miles. This will be a flat, but speedy hike on the trails around Lums Pond. Bring snow shoes if snowy. Archery hunting is active: “Hunters should not be seen from the trail”.
HIKING Sunday Hiking -- for 4-5 miles on 07/03/2016 @ 1:00pm-3:00pm -- Meet promptly in front of the Court House Museum. We will hike for 2 hours with some interpretive comments about the town’s history as we explore some streets and we will walk the path along the Delaware River. Jane Terry

CYCLING Tuesday Cycling -- for 30-35 miles on 07/05/2016 @ 9:00am-12:30pm -- We will ride to Hepzipah and return.
HIKING Wednesday Midweek Hiking -- for 8-10 miles on 07/06/2016 @ 9:00am-1:30pm -- We will hike up and back on part of the Mason Dixon Trail through this unusual forest area. Parking will be by the Susquehanna River and then hiking along Muddy Creek. The creek is far from muddy, as it’s quite clear and rushing. The river’s gorge is covered with huge native Rhododendrons. The gorgeous natural beauty will be worth the brief bit of challenging uphill at the beginning of the hike. (Coming down is easier!) There are several water crossings. The leader will wait and help as needed. Also, since all of it is up and back, hikers can stop anywhere along the way. The leader believes that this is the most special trail, within 1 hours’ drive of Newark, DE! CARPOOLING: From Fair Hill Natural Resources Area – P1 (MD-273), 4640 Telegraph Rd, Elkton, MA 21921, by 8:00 AM. Fair Hill does have a parking fee …Cold Cabin does not. Bring wat...
HIKING Saturday Long Hiking -- for 12-14 miles on 07/09/2016 @ 9:00am-1:30pm -- Expect hills (some can be steep), stream crossings, rocky trails. In the event of sufficient snow, we’ll snowshoe rather than hike. If bad weather is predicted, check forum or with hike leader for update on hiking plans. Bring water, snacks, lunch.

PADDLING Touring Paddling -- for miles on 07/11/2016 @ 10:00am-6:00pm -- An annual event. Begin with a short paddle on the Sassafras Fox Landing, followed by a middle of the afternoon picnic and then some musical entertainment at White Clay Creek State Park.
CYCLING Tuesday Cycling -- for 26 miles on 07/12/2016 @ 9:00am-1:00pm -- Cue-Sheet: X Scenic ride with some hills. Lunch to be determined by group after the ride.
