This will be a 3-mile hike on level ground through Delaware City to the Mike Castle Trail or through Fort DuPont. Walk back through town to finish the hike. Meet by 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the end of Clinton Street (near Crabby Dick’s). Please bring flashlights! Dinner after the hike with the group if you like!

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of I-95 & DE-141 (exit 5A). Merge onto DE-141 south & proceed 3.9 mi. Turn right onto DE-9 (W 7th St) south & continue for 6.8 mi. Turn left to continue on DE-9 south for 2.0 mi. Turn left onto Washington St & proceed for 0.6 mi. Delaware City public parking is available one block from Battery Park at 70 Washington Street.
LOCATION NOTES:
Delaware City prefers that we use the Washington Street Parking lot for WTC events at Battery Park to avoid crowding the merchants’ parking on Clinton Street. Sometimes referred to as “Harbor Street”.
