Appalachian Trail Work Trip

Meet at Brandywine Town Center park and ride for 0730 departure, 2 1/4 hr/ 120 miles to trailhead at Fox Gap PA. We will repaint trail blazes, do shelter and privy maintenance, trim brush, cover at least several miles of the AT. If enough people for two cars, maybe hike the entire section with shuttle. Wear work clothing and sturdy footwear, bring your own favorite hand tools, gloves, water, lunch, snack. Paint and brushes and some hand tools available from the club inventory. Post event snack stop at the Village Bakery in Delaware Water Gap for sandwiches, ice cream, baked goods. Return home early evening. Drivers will be compensated by the club, so, no cost to attendees. Information on changes such as weather cancellation will only be available to people who register in advance with leader or who read WTC Forums the night before the event. If you forget to register in advance and are unsure about anything, like the weather, please contact the leader anytime including morning of the event.
