DESCRIPTION: (Wear appropriate clothing & bring water! Below are some special instructions: what to bring, relative difficulties, interesting features, and carpooling directions.)
This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. Any questions, please contact Terri Tipping. Backup contacts are: Jim March and Mike Czupryna.
