General Information:
This is a 3-night canoe camping trip that is limited to 9 people including the trip leaders. There is a ⅓ mile carry of boats and camping gear to the beach where we launch.
Difficulty & Must Have:
Attendees must be able to paddle for 3 hours, hike for 2 hours, transport a canoe or kayak and must commit to helping with camp chores (fetching water, collecting firewood).
Nice to Have & Human Interest
We will spend Thursday, Friday and Saturday camping, exploring, fishing, hiking, nature watching, star-gazing and swimming. Restrooms are available at the camp sites.
Additional Notes & Shuttle Info:
You have the option of either driving up the night before and staying in town (the Adirondack Hotel) or meeting at the portage to Lake Lila no later than 9:30 Thursday morning.
