DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From the St Georges Bridge, conntinue south on US-13 for 6.8 mi. Turn left onto DE-299 east and continue 1.6 mi. Turn left to continue on DE-299 east for 0.2 mi. Continue staright onto DE-9 south for 1.4 mi. Turn left onto Stave Landing Rd and continue 1.7 mi. Turn right just before the gate and drive to the end of the dirt road. Park efficiently.
LOCATION NOTES:
Also known as “Blackbird Creek Boat Ramp”. Parking is down a dirt road after the dead end of Stave Landing Rd, as it meets the Blackbird Creek. There is no street address for this remote location! Use the website’s Google Mapping link, GPS coordinates, or follow the written driving directions …not the nearest address. Parking space is free, but limited …so park efficiently. The biggest challenge at this put-in is that it’s natural / unimproved and can be muddy.
