TRAFFIC ALERT – New Castle County – Chambers Rock Road to Close at Bridge over White clay Creek
Starting December 27th
Newark — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that Chambers Rock Road will be closed at the bridge over the White Clay Creek, for maintenance and joint repairs starting Tuesday, December 27th through Friday, January 6th. This will be a 24/7 closure.
Traffic will detour taking Thompson Station Road to Hopkins Road to New London Road (Route 896) to Chambers Rock Road.
This work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays moving through the area.
