      LEADER:
      NAME: April Schmitt
      EMAIL:
      PHONE: (484) 883-0110

DESCRIPTION: (Wear appropriate clothing & bring water! Below are some special instructions: what to bring, relative difficulties, interesting features, & carpooling directions.)

Let’s take advantage of the current opportunity to see and identify glorious spring plants and flowers! We will meet at the leader’s cul-de-sac and all activities will be outside. (Sorry, no restrooms or Potluck this time.) We’ll also visit the Tristate and Arc Corner Markers during our hike loop. The trails are in the woods and there are a couple of steep hills, but no water crossings.

Participants will be emailed a color list of plants that we plan to see! You may choose to download it to your mobile device or print it, but do not depend on internet connection in the hollow.

The hike will be limited to 15 people and you must RSVP the leader via email to join no earlier than 6 days before the hike. Anyone needing to cancel should contact the Leader by 8:00 AM on the day of the hike, who may then contact others waitlisted who didn’t get into the hike.

Also per Covid-19 rules: stay 6 feet apart if possible, and wear a face mask when closer. You must have your face mask readily available on your person while on the hike. Also, please bring your own pen to sign in. Carpooling and shuttles to hike locations are now permitted as long as involved participants are fully vaccinated and two weeks past their final inoculation. The wearing of masks with some windows open for ventilation are recommended as extra precautions.
