FYI, a culvert repair project will result in the closure of part of Paper Mill Road north of Newark starting next week. The road will be closed between Possum Park Road and Fox Den Road from April 9 through April 20, according to the Delaware Department of Transportation. The closure will allow workers to complete the first step of a project to fix a culvert that allows Middle Run Tributary to run under the road. The current culvert consists of a corrugated metal pipe. There are significant perforations along the pipe and a large erosion hole, and it has been deemed structurally deficient.
