        The Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday on Monday January 16th is designated as a National Day of Service to encourage citizens to volunteer to improve their communities.  The White Clay Creek State Park has two opportunities to serve

        WCCSP Judge Morris section is having a non-native Viburnum blitz on Monday 1/16 from 10am to noon. WTC members have been working to restore the forest at Judge Morris and this is an opportunity to make a final winter push on removing this invasive Viburnum. All skill levels are welcome and all tools will be provided. Bring work gloves.  Parking at the Judge Morris Estate parking lot.

        WCCSP Whitely Farms area is having a non-native Multiflora rose blitz on Monday 1/16 from 2pm to 4pm.  WTC members use the Whitely Farms trails and this effort will begin an initiative to restore the forest along the cut off known as Lover’s Lane. All skill levels are welcome and all tools will be provided. Bring work gloves. Parking at the Nine Foot Road parking lot.
