If you joined the WTC in 2020 or 2021 you are still a New Member. New Member Hikes are for welcoming new members and anyone considering joining the Wilmington Trail Club. Everyone is welcome, whether you prefer to hike, bike, kayak, or ski. Current members are also welcome.
Please plan to join us at Newark Municipal Building on Saturday, September 11, at 4 pm, to walk the Newark neighborhoods and stay for dinner at Deer Park on West Main Street. Details below.

Hike Newark neighborhoods. Bring money for dinner at the Deer Park after the hike. Newark City Municipal Building | Parking Fee: No / Restroom Available: No | 220 S Main St, Newark, DE 19711 | 39.677551, -75.764195 Heading west toward Elkton on DE-2 (South Main St / formerly Elkton Rd), proceed past Apple Rd, turn right at the light at the “Green Turtle” Sports Bar, immediate right into the parking lot of the Municipal Building. We will return to our cars to allow hikers to retrieve money for dinner after the hike.
