WW Kayak Cleaning Event – Saturday, November 9 (rain date, Sunday November 10) 1:00 pm until finished.

Volunteer to help get WTC whitewater kayaks squeaky clean in time for the start of the winter pool sessions!

WTC has 14 whitewater kayaks that must be cleaned inside and out in order to be used at the kayak rolling sessions at Fraim Senior Center pool starting in December.

Many hands make the work easy.

      Equipment needed:

      gas generator
      extension cords
shop vacuum cleaners with brush attachments
      containers of water
      buckets
      cleaning rags
rubber gloves (if the weather is cold)

      Also enthusiasm and thoroughness!

Please email Matt Himmelstein: matth@wtckayak.com to let him know you’re coming and to see if he still needs any necessary supplies.

Matt H. here. We have some signees for this event which is 1 pm Saturday 11/9. I want to get a better head count. Club and personal boats will be cleaned. If you bring a personal boat, please make sure it is dry inside and bring some drying towels. Cleaning is a two step process. Come see how it’s done. We will have a generator, shop vacs and clean water on site. Contact me at matth@wtckayak.com.
