Lodging: Goose Pond Inn (or similar B&B)

$129-$130/night, leader will make arrangements

Ski & Snowshoe venues: Gore Mountain Cross Country Ski Trails, Garnet Hill, $25, rentals, good for all levels

Driving: Approximately 348 miles/5.5 hrs. from Wilmington

Description: Weekend in North Creek, NY. We will most likely stay at Goose Pond Inn with check in Friday afternoon or later. Friday skiing at Gore Mountain Cross Country Ski Trails with some nice loops with a big hill and lights, followed by happy hour and dinner. Saturday activities are at Garnet Hill which has many miles of nice trails, and a good lodge to leave your stuff and have lunch (bring your own or buy there). Second happy hour and dinner Saturday evening. North Creek has several nice restaurants for both nights. Sunday before heading home there are options of 1) hike/snowshoe/ski the back country of Siamese Pond hiking trails 2) return to Garnet Hill 3) go to Cunnigham Ski Barn Trails (flat trails in town near Hudson river). Rooms at Goose Pond Inn include Queen and bunkbed options (1-4 people) with ensuite bathrooms. Prices range from $129-$130/night. Contact the leader for more information at agmoeller1@gmail.com.
