WTC Fall Picnic

10:00 am Kayakers meet and launch
10:30 am Short hike
12:30 pm Time to eat

Club will supply hamburgers, hot dogs, fixin’s, soda/water. Please bring dish to share (salads, snacks, main dishes, desserts).

RSVP to Joan March (; (302) 981-7255) so that we know how many burgers and dogs to buy. Also we appreciate volunteers for setup and cleanup.

Lums Pond charges a $4 in-state, and $8 out-of-state daily admission fee without a DE State Park Pass.

We plan to have a raffle again as in the past two years if we’re able to get some gear donations from local sporting goods stores. Additionally, we can add any items members may no longer have need of that are in good condition. So feel free to contribute.

From the intersection of DE-896 and US-40. Proceed south on DE-896 for 2.6 mi. Turn left onto Howell School Rd and travel 0.4 mi. Turn right into the park. ]The lot areas are numbered in reverse, because the entrance was moved from one end to the other. Follow the winding park road, all of the way until there is no more pavement near the old bathing beach.
