A return to where it all began – Ingrid Jackoway will lead a paddle around Lums Pond from the beach. This is where many of you started your kayaking journey. RSVP to Ingrid for the paddle – ingrid at jackoway dot net
Picnic at the pavilion following the paddle. Club will supply hamburgers, hot dogs, fixins, soda/water. Please bring a dish to share (salads, snacks, main dishes, desserts).

Lums Pond charges a $4 in-state, and $8 out-of-state daily admission fee without a DE State Park Pass.

From the intersection of DE-896 and US-40. Proceed south on DE-896 for 2.6 mi. Turn left onto Howell School Rd and travel 0.4 mi. Turn right into the park. ]The lot areas are numbered in reverse, because the entrance was moved from one end to the other. Follow the winding park road, all of the way until there is no more pavement near the old bathing beach.
