Nixon City Park in Kennett Square

This is a hike on both paved open and wooded dirt trails and urban sidewalks. Join us for this hike to enjoy the park setting and urban spaces of Kennett Square.

This hike is limited to 15 people and you must RSVP the leader via email to join no earlier than 6 days before the hike. Other respondents beyond the first 14 will be wait-listed and notified if there has been a cancellation in the hike. Please provide the leader with your phone number for notification in case of cancellations.

It is important that those accepted to the hike arrive for their meet-up at 9:45 to depart at 10:00am. Anyone needing to cancel from this hike should contact the Leader by 8:00am the day of the hike, who may then contact others waitlisted.

Note: Carpooling and shuttles to hike locations are now permitted as long as involved participants are fully vaccinated and two weeks past their final inoculation. The wearing of masks with some windows open for ventilation are required as extra precautions.

We will follow state of Delaware Covid 19 rules: stay 6 feet apart if possible, and wearing a face mask is required when closer. You must have your face mask readily available on your person while on the hike. Also, please bring your own pen to sign in.
