Wolf’s Hollow County Park

Meet at park-and-ride at Hockessin Memorial Hall (intersection of Rt. 41 and Yorklyn Road) for 8:30 a.m. departure, or meet at the park at 9:00 a.m. (street Address:  1399 Schoff Road, Atglen, PA).  (Contact hike leader by Friday evening if plan to meet her at park.)  We will have to do loops around the park to get in 12-14 miles, we will climb the same steep hills a couple of times.  Also expect some rocky trails (although not all are rocky), stream crossings, and mud (if there has been rain).   Warning: gun range nearby, so expect noise.  Port-a-potty at park parking lot.  Bring lunch, snacks, water.

From DE-41 (Newport Gap Pike) at the DE / PA state line. Proceed on PA-41 (Gap Newport Pike) north for 16.0 mi. Turn left onto Highland Rd & proceed 1.2 mi. Bear left onto Bailey Crossroads Rd for 0.1 mi. Turn right onto Schoff Rd & proceed 1.0 mi. Turn right onto Wolf's Hollow Dr & proceed 2.0 mi. The main parking lot will be at the dead end.
