This is a multi-loop hike, including woods, fields, and garden paths. Hopefully the weather will be crisp and the grounds in autumn colors. Wear boots or hiking shoes for rough woodland terrain; bring water and lunch. Restrooms are available at several locations. Please note this is a specially arranged hike.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-141 (Centre Rd) & DE-52 (Kennett Pike), proceed north on DE-52 for 2.4 mi. At the traffic light on DE-52 and Old Kennett Rd, turn right into the main gate of Winterthur, Follow the signs to the visitors' parking lot . Do not park in the bus stalls. Meet at far end of Visitors' Parking Lot, adjacent to the "Picnic House".
LOCATION NOTES:
Fees are charged year round here, but the club sometimes arranges special hikes with passes.
