This is a multi-loop hike including rustic woodlands, fields, and garden paths. Wear boots or hiking shoes for rough woodland terrain. Included on the hike will be visits to some of the newly installed follies on the grounds. (Follie: an imaginative, whimsical garden structure.) Bring water and lunch. Please note this is a specially arranged hike.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-141 (Centre Rd) & DE-52 (Kennett Pike), proceed north on DE-52 for 2.4 mi. At the traffic light on DE-52 and Old Kennett Rd, turn right into the main gate of Winterthur, Follow the signs to the visitors' parking lot . Do not park in the bus stalls. Meet at far end of Visitors' Parking Lot, adjacent to the "Picnic House".
LOCATION NOTES:
Fees are charged year round here, but the club sometimes arranges special hikes with passes.
