The leader will cover most of the Estate. Wooded areas, meadows, formal gardens. Trails with roots, rocks and an occasional minor stream crossing.
The leader will have a few passes , but regular admission is probably $15 to $20.
Bring water, snack, lunch and a mask for indoor spaces (restrooms and Museum)

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-141 (Centre Rd) & DE-52 (Kennett Pike), proceed north on DE-52 for 2.4 mi. At the traffic light on DE-52 and Old Kennett Rd, turn right into the main gate of Winterthur, Follow the signs to the visitors' parking lot . Do not park in the bus stalls. Meet at far end of Visitors' Parking Lot, adjacent to the "Picnic House".
LOCATION NOTES:
Fees are charged year round here, but the club sometimes arranges special hikes with passes.
