Brandywine Park Rose Garden to the Nature Center at the Riverfront. We will walk along the Brandywine, through downtown Wilmington to see some historic buildings and along the Christina River. Bring lunch, water and a snack. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: The Jasper Crane Rose Garden is located near the Wilmington Zoo. Take Rt. 141 to Rt. 52 (Pennsylvania Avenue). Turn right towards Wilmington. Make a left at Rodney Street. Drive to the end, then turn right at Lovering Avenue. Go left at Van Buren Street and drive over the bridge and then left into the parking lot (under the I-95 viaduct).

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-141 (Centre Rd) & DE-52 (Kennett Pike). Take DE-52 (Kennett Pike) south for 2.2 mi. Turn left onto N Franklin St & proceed 0.3 mi. Turn right onto Lovering Ave & proceed 0.1 mi. Turn left onto N Van Buren St (street sign is missing) & proceed 0.2 mi. Drive over the bridge. Turn left onto N Park Dr & proceed 0.1 mi. The parking lot will be on the left under a I-95 bridge.
LOCATION NOTES:

Wilmington State Parks are home to “Brandywine Park”, the Brandywine Zoo, Baynard Stadium, Josephine Fountain & Jasper Crane Rose Garden.

The Jasper Crane Rose Garden is North of North Van Buren Street. Parking under I-95  is 0.1 mile north of North Van Buren Street

on North Park Drive.
