Join me for a walk along the beautiful Brandywine River and downtown Wilmington. Please meet and be ready to hike promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the parking lot next to the Jasper Crane Rose Garden (under the I-95 viaduct). We will walk 5-6 miles mostly on pavement but there could be a few wooded areas as well.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-141 (Centre Rd) & DE-52 (Kennett Pike). Take DE-52 (Kennett Pike) south for 2.2 mi. Turn left onto N Franklin St & proceed 0.3 mi. Turn right onto Lovering Ave & proceed 0.1 mi. Turn left onto N Van Buren St (street sign is missing) & proceed 0.2 mi. Drive over the bridge. Turn left onto N Park Dr & proceed 0.1 mi. The parking lot will be on the left under a I-95 bridge.
LOCATION NOTES:
Wilmington State Parks are home to “Brandywine Park”, the Brandywine Zoo, Baynard Stadium, Josephine Fountain & Jasper Crane Rose Garden.
The Jasper Crane Rose Garden is North of North Van Buren Street. Parking under I-95 is 0.1 mile north of North Van Buren Street
on North Park Drive.
