Chambers Rock Road, 899 Chambers Rock Rd, Newark, DE 19711 Leader: Peggy Bell (302-299-8956); E: ). Meet at 9:00 AM for a 6-7 mile hike. At the end of the hike, we will return to the parking lot, and there will be an option to hike 3-6 additional miles. Bring snacks and water. Directions: From DE Rt 72, turn onto Thompson Station Rd (runs along the Deerfield golf course) and follow straight back to where the State Park Office is. Turn left there onto Chambers Rock Rd and look for the partially hidden entrance a short distance on the right. Parking Fee in effect.

From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) & DE-7 (Limestone Rd). Take DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) west for 3.9 mi. Proceed north on DE-72 (Possum Park Road) for 1.8 mi. At traffic light (by Shell Station) continue straight onto Thompson Station Rd to the 4 way Stop. Continue straight to the next Stop sign and turn left on Chambers Rock Road.The parking lot will be on the right just after the bridge.
