White Clay Creek State Park – Nine Foot Road, Leader: Peggy Bell (302-299-8956, E: ). Meet at 9 AM in the Nine Foot Road Parking area. The hike is about 6-7 miles in WCCSP. Bring snacks and water. Directions–From Newark go up Paper Mill Road and come to the intersection by the old Louviers golf course (now Deerfield) and turn north (left) onto Thompson Station Road. Shortly afterward you will turn right at the WCCSP sign at Nine Foot Road. If coming from Limestone Road, go down Paper Mill Road and take a right at Thompson Station Road. Parking lot is at the bottom of the hill. There is a parking fee as this is a DE State Park

From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) & DE-7 (Limestone Rd). Take DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) west for 3.9 mi. Proceed north on DE-72 for 1.8 mi. Continue straight onto Thompson Station Rd for 0.4 mi. Before Deerfield Golf Course, turn right onto Fairhill School Dr / Nine Foot Rd. The parking lot is on the left.
