This is a hike through woods on gravel paths, mostly level, with some minor inclines that follows along the White Clay Creek.
Current WTC Covid Policy: 1. Always bring a mask with you for any contingencies such as medical care. 2. If you are fully vaccinated you are not required to wear a mask for any WTC activities or maintain social distancing. 3. If you are not vaccinated we strongly urge you to wear a mask if you cannot maintain social distancing. 4. Any rest or lunch breaks must conform to the mask/social distancing rules in 2 and 3 above. 5. Shuttles and carpools do not require members to be fully vaccinated, but masks are required, vaccinated or unvaccinated. 6. If you are uncomfortable around others without a mask, please feel free to wear your mask.

White Clay Creek State Park – Nature Center 1475 Creek Rd Newark, DE
From the intersection of DE-896 and Cleveland Avenue, proceed north on DE-896 for 2.6 miles. Turn right onto Hopkins Rd and proceed 1.0 mile. Take the first left onto Tweeds Mill Rd. Continue up the road and the lot entrance will be on your second left.
This section of Creek Road is very close to Hopkins Bridge.
