Warm-up II, Brandywine Trail, Lenape to Brandywine Creek State

Enjoy hiking at your own pace along the attractive 13-mile lower section of the Brandywine Trail, whether or not you are planning to do the End-to-End on April 13. Trail guide is provided. You can hike on your own or hike with a leader. Meet in the Brandywine Creek State Park Hawk Watch parking lot (enter from Adams Dam Road, large parking lot is on the right – NOT at the Visitor Center).  The park opens at 8:00 a.m. Park fees are in effect. ($4 for DE vehicles; $8 for out-of-state vehicles.) Announcements and carpooling ready to leave by 8:15 a.m. Bring lunch and water. Shuttle distance from BCSP to Lenape is about 10 miles. Limited to 50 participants.

From the intersection of DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) & DE-141 (Powder Mill Rd). Take DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) north & proceed 2.1 mi. Turn right onto Adams Dam Rd. Then left at the park entrance. Stay right to reach the lot.
