Village of Unionville

Meet at Hood’s BBQ, and be ready to hike at 1:00 p.m. for a 3-mile hike in Unionville village, park and neighborhoods. Social afterwards at Hood’s BBQ, menu at hoodsbbq.com (Hood’s is a BYOB).  Note: restrooms on the trail are seasonal and may not be open. Restrooms are available at Landhope Farms at the intersection of Rts. 82 & 926.

Driving Directions: From PA Rt. 1 South. Exit Rt. 82 North. Drive approximately 3 miles.   Hood’s BBQ, is on the left.  Parking is on the right, the second lot past Hood’s.  Address: Hood’s BBQ: 1664 W. Doe Run Road, Unionville, PA 19375. If you get lost on the day of the hike, call the Hike Leader on her cell phone.

From the intersection of US-1 & PA-82 (Unionville Rd). Proceed north on PA-82 (Unionville Rd) for 2.4 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit, to continue north on PA-82 (W Doe Run Rd) for 0.9 mi. The restaurant will be on the left, with parking behind. There is a large optional parking lot, across the street by the baseball fields.
