Join us in giving back to our parks with trail clearance at Trap Pond State Park. We have 3 slots. August 22-23, September 19-20, and October 3-4. Come for a day or camp overnight in Delaware’s most beautiful campsite and volunteer 2 days. Bring loppers, secateurs, handsaws, gloves for the work, water, snacks, lunch, bug juice, sunscreen. There will be time to paddle in the iconic bald cypress wetlands and visit the Delaware Botanical Garden. Park staff has agreed that a 9 am to 1 pm timeframe would be the limit for the service project on each day. Keep in mind that volunteers are welcome to remain in the park and can explore other areas by canoe/kayak and/or can hike, relax, etc. in other parts of the park.
