Enjoy this spectacular spring wildflower and bluebell display along the Susquehanna River and you may even see a bald eagle…or two, or more, fishing below the Conowingo Dam. Park fees are in effect with out of state drivers paying $3.00 at the park entrance by envelope. Carpooling: Arrive ready to leave at 8:50 AM in the Hockessin Memorial Hall parking lot (Rt. 41 and Yorklyn Road).

From DE-273 at the DE/MD state line. Proceed west on MD-273 for 16.5 miles. Turn left onto US-1 south & proceed 5.9 mi. You will be crossing the Conowingo Dam. Turn left onto Shuresville Rd & proceed 1.8 mi. Slight left to stay on Shuresville Rd & proceed 161 ft. Turn left onto Stafford Rd & proceed 2.3 mi. The parking lot will be on the right.
