Description:  Enjoy a night of hiking by the light of the Full Moon! Join Peggy Bell on a hike at the reservoir as she leads a family friendly hike on the trails and paved path near and around the reservoir. From 5:30-7:00, we will hike on the trails and paved paths nearby and then join other participants at the reservoir parking lot for a walk around the reservoir. Moonrise is at 7:19 PM. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.

FYI : The September full Moon is usually known as the Full Corn Moon because it traditionally corresponds with the time of harvesting corn. It is also called the Barley Moon because this is the time to harvest and thresh the ripened barley. Often, the September Moon is called the “Harvest Moon” but this year it’s in October.
