This hike is canceled due to 90% chance of forecasted rain and thunderstorms A shorter version will be held due to weather forecast change- Please park in the back corner of the lot by the pond and playground and the “Jonathan W. Husband” Trail. We will take that trail into Middle Run where we will do 2 loops. All wooded trails and mostly shaded though there are a few sunny areas and, of course, some hills. Bring water and good hiking shoes or boots. Bug spray and hiking poles are recommended.

From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Hwy) & DE-7 (Limestone Rd). Take DE-7 north & proceed 3.2 mi. Turn left onto DE-72 (Paper Mill Rd) south & proceed 1.5 mi. Turn left onto Polly Drummond Hill Rd & proceed 0.2 mi. Turn right quickly onto Sunrise Dr & proceed 0.2 mi. Turn right quickly into the park. Proceed to the furthest part of the lot.

At the intersection of DE-72 (Paper Mill Rd) & Polly Drummond Hill Rd. This parkland leads to Middle Run Valley County Natural Area.
