WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 01/16/2020 @ 9:00am - 11:00am -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. HIKING Thursday Hiking -- for 4 miles on 01/16/2020 @ 10:00am - 1:00pm -- This is a mostly flat, moderate hike that will include wooded trails with tree roots, so poles are advisable. The trail may be muddy, depending on weather. No state parking fee is required at this time of the year.

HIKING Saturday Long Hiking -- for 14-16 miles on 01/18/2020 @ 9:00am - 2:00pm -- We’ll hike through Middle Run and White Clay Creek State Park to Judge Morris Estate and back. These are well traveled trails with rocks and roots with an occasional minor stream crossing. Meet at Paper Mill Park by 9:00
HIKING Saturday Medium Hiking -- for 9 -10 miles on 01/18/2020 @ 9:15am - 1:30pm -- This is a Shuttle hike. We will uses *Dart bus route 2 from the park & ride by Christmas Shop, Brandywine Town Center. The shuttle bus ride leaves from the Town Center at 9:16 am. Hike begins at JCC on Garden of Eden Road. There will be some hills, multiple stream crossings, and some groomed trails. Hiking boots & poles recommended. Bring lunch and water. (*Bus fare with Medicare card $.80.. regular fare $2..have exact fare ready.)
