Arrive ready to depart at 10:00 a.m. for an easy 4-mile hike on a portion of the Battery Park path and through this quaint small town, which will be hosting the Kalmar Nyckel (Swedish founders’ historic ship recreation). We will meet-up at the parking lot on the right side of South Street between West 5^th and West 4^th Streets. The New Castle Senior Center is behind this parking lot and Goodwill Fire Co. is across the street. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Take route 141 (Basin Rd) all the way east until it dead ends at River Road (Rt. 9). At that stop sign make a left. At the next stop sign (South Street) make a right. Stay on South thru the stop sign at 6^th until you pass 5^th street. The parking lot will be on your right.
