Hike is on streets and paved C&D Canal Trail. Plan for a warm evening. Meeting Point and Parking is in the Schaefers Lot to the west of the restaurant (lot closer to the bridge). If parking not available at this lot, there is a new paved lot one block away from the Canal, north of this lot. Dinner is planned at Schaefer’s after the hike for anyone who is interested.

From Elkton, take MD 213 South towards the C&D canal and Chesapeake City. Turn left just BEFORE THE C&D Canal Bridge onto Bank Street, the road into N. Cheaspeake City. Follow the road into the town and turn right into parking area.
