Enjoy this hike on both paved and wooded trails alongside the Newark City Reservoir and the adjacent William M. Redd Jr. Park. Trekking poles are recommended since there is a long incline up to the reservoir from the parking area, and the wooded trails have roots and some tripping hazards.
