Lodging: Inn at the Bridge, rate is $220 per room per night because it’s a holiday weekend. Register with the leader and send a deposit of $50 per person.
Ski venues: Lapland Lake, $25/day
Driving: About 5 hours from Wilmington via NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and I-87, I-90, and NY 30. About 10 miles from the Inn to the ski area.
Description:
We will stay at Inn at the Bridge, 641 Bridge Street, Northville, NY 12134. innatthebridge.com, 518-863-3174. The Inn is a beautifully restored Victorian building looking out over the Great Sacandaga Lake. Most rooms are double beds but some have pull outs available. There are 6 rooms total plus common areas. Includes full buffet style continental breakfast. All rooms have a private bath. We’ll be skiing at Lapland Lakes Ski area (https://www.laplandlake.com/) which is a good place for beginners. Lapland has about 50 km of ski trails, 12 km of snowshoe trails, rentals and lessons. Dinners at local restaurants. All participants must abide by WTC Covid guidelines.
