This will be a brisk hike of the perimeter of Brandywine Creek State Park and First State National Historical Park. The trails are well traveled with rocks and roots. There may also be a few minor stream crossings. Meet at BCSP Nature center parking lot by 9:00 a.m. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, snack, lunch and plenty of water.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) & DE-141 (Powder Mill). Take DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) north & proceed 2.1 mi. Turn right on Adams Dam Rd. Then left into the park entrance. Stay left to reach the main visitors lot.
