This is a 4-mile hike through woods and fields in this great county asset. Arrive ready to start at 10:00 a.m. There are some minor hills and roots on the trail to watch out for. Hiking poles are advisable if you have them. There are no toilets or water fountains on site, but you can use them before the hike at the nearby drugstore.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Hwy) and DE-72 (Possum Park Rd). Take DE-72 north for 1.7 mi. Turn right onto Possum Hollow Rd & proceed 0.4 mi. Turn left onto the dirt road, before the Tri-State Bird Rescue Center & proceed 0.4 mi. The parking lot is at the dead end of the dirt road.
LOCATION NOTES:
Also known as “Possum Hollow”. This County parkland is between two sections of White Clay Creek State Park.
