Mannington Elementary School I

Leader:  Jean Faddis (H:  302-995-1080 or C:  302-287-6977.  .  Meet at 9:30 am for this 26 mile mostly flat scenic ride through NJ countryside.  Directions:  Meet at Mannington Elementary School ( less than 12 miles from the DE side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge.)  Address:  495 Rt 45, Salem NJ  08079.  Cross the bridge via I-295 N  Take US 40 East exit and make immediate right onto Rt 540 just before traffic light.  Continue about 6.5 miles; turn left onto ByPass Rd.  Left at stop sign onto NJ 45/540.  School is a little more than a mile ahead on the left.  No bathroom at the start, but stop at Salem Memorial Hospital on the way in if you need a pit-stop. ( Intersection of Bypass Rd and NJ 45/540.)

From the intersection of I-295 & DE-9. Take I-295 north over the Delaware Memorial Bridge proceeding 3.2 mi. Keep left at the fork on US-40 east & proceed 0.9 mi. Exit right to stay on US-40 east & proceed 0.2 mi. Turn right onto NJ-540 (Hawks Bridge Rd) east & proceed 6.5 mi. Turn left onto NJ-540 (Bypass Rd) east & proceed 0.1 mi. Turn left onto NJ-45 (Salem Woodstown Rd) north & proceed 1.1 mi. The parking lot will be on the left.
