Labor Day – Newlin Grist Mill

This nature hike will pass through an “array of diverse habitats from upland grasslands to river bottom wetlands, each offering its own varieties of plants.” From portions of an old rail trail to hilly terrain we will loop by the Chester and Concord Creeks and the Sequoia woods and Tree Farm. Park in the 2nd lot from the entrance. Trekking poles are advised since there are hills and a stream crossing.

From US-202 at the DE/PA state line, continue north on US-202 for 3.0 mi. Turn right onto US-1 N / US-322 E and proceed 2.3 mi. Turn right onto Cheyney Rd proceed 350 ft. The parking lot will be on the right. Please park in the second lot.
