This is an out and back hike on the Jack A. Markell Trail on a boardwalk across marshlands and an asphalt bike/pedestrian trail. We start at the Dupont Environmental Nature Center in the Russell Peterson Wildlife Refuge.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
Take I-495 South or North to Exit 1, US 13. Follow Business US 13 North (South Market Street) to Left on New Sweden St. At stop, left on Delmarva Ln. to parking lot at DEEC. If parking lot is full, go back to parking off Shipyard Dr. across from St. Francis healthcare facility.

Access to the Jack A. Markell Trail.

 

Driving directions are from I-495 at Exit 1 (US 13), We’re trying to stay away from I-95 during the construction.
