This will be a 14 mile loop hike heading north on the Appalachian Trail from Eckville, looping through various Hawk Mountain trails (Skyline, River of Rocks, Golden Eagle), and then returning on the AT. There are two major climbs and a lot of rock scrambling. Bring lunch, snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray. Meet for carpooling at 7:30 a.m. at Brandywine Town Center or at Eckville AT parking at 9:00 a.m. Driving distance from BTC to Eckville is 94 miles. For those wishing to meet at the Eckville AT parking please arrange with the hike leader in advance.
