Gordon’s Pond State Park, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.  Leader:  Bob Dunlap (302-765-2686)  Email: rhdunlapgmail.com.  Depart at 9:30 am for about a 24-mile ride to Lewes along the Junction and Breakwater Trail, tour Cape Henlopen State Park, and return to Gordon’s Pond along the Gordon’s Pond Trail.  Much of the ride will be on finely crushed stone. Optional lunch after the ride at a local restaurant.   DRIVING DIRECTIONS:  South on Route 1 to Rehoboth area, bear left onto Route 1A into Rehoboth Beach.  At the first traffic circle, take the second exit onto Columbia Avenue to the end at N. Surf Avenue.  Left onto N. Surf Ave and take the first right onto Ocean Drive. Follow Ocean Drive into Gordon’s Pond State Park, and park near the picnic area.  Park fee in effect.  Bring water and a snack, and a lock for your bike if staying for lunch.  Allow 2 hours driving time.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-1 & US-113 in Milford, DE. Continue on DE-1 South for 24.53 mi. Turn slight left onto DE-1A (toward Rehoboth) & proceed 0.8 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Columbia Av & proceed 1.0 mi. Turn left onto Surf Av and proceed 280 ft. Turn right onto Henlopen Av / Duneway / Ocean Dr (multiple name changes) & proceed 1.0 mi to the state park entrance booth. Continue 0.9 mi  to just before the pavilion circle, turn right into the northeast section of the huge parking area.
