EVENT

WHEN:
DATE: 04/06/2024
TIME: 9:00am-1:30pm (prompt start, estimated end)
MILEAGE: 8-10 miles

DESCRIPTION: (Wear appropriate clothing & bring water!  Below are some special instructions: what to bring, relative difficulties, interesting features, and carpooling directions.)

Come hike at this beautiful recently opened 577-acre nature preserve. We’ll be hiking wide old farm trails along the Octoraro Creek and up thru the rolling forests and fields above the creek. Expect some hills. There will be some mud and few stream crossings so boots and poles are suggested. There’s also a very cool unique natural feature that’s part of the trail and unlike any other trail you’ve ever hiked on. Bring lunch. There will be an early out back at parking lot where we’ll also eat lunch

The Glenroy lot only holds 15-20 cars max, so carpooling is highly suggested.
