EVENT
DATE: 08/08/2020
TIME: 10:00am - 3:00pm (prompt start, estimated end)
This is a COVID-19 compliant paddle. We will be maintaining social distancing when possible and wearing face masks as necessary. Please bring a face mask, hand sanitizer, and your own pen to sign the liability/release form. Please bring a lunch to eat in your boat. The paddle is limited to 10 people and you must RSVP the leader (Bob Kissell) via email to attend and include your cell number. RSVPs will only be accepted 6 days prior to the day of the paddle (i.e. starting Sunday August 2). After 10 are signed up you will be placed on a waiting list.
This is a very scenic paddle – expect to see bald eagles, blue herons, and osprey. It is also a relatively easy paddle. Any recreational boat 10′ or longer is appropriate. We can paddle up the Sassafras from the put in as far as we can go and down river from the put in. Which direction first depends on the tide.
There is no shuttle.
