DATE: 12/06/2018
TIME: 10:00am - 12:30pm (prompt start, estimated end)
MILEAGE: 3-4 miles
Leaders: Cindy (302/650-4214) and Chuck Nelson (302/993-6738).
Arrive ready to start at 10:00 a.m. The hike is 3 to 4 miles on paved trail within the park, which has been renovated within the last few years and all areas are open. It is very flat, with great views of the Delaware River, including Commodore Barry Bridge, the Delaware Memorial Bridge and the New Jersey Shore Line. See where 19th century Wilmingtonians came to swim in the river before pollution. The trails will be windy and chilly! There is little/no shelter from the winds. There are benches along the paths. There are no fees in the winter. Drive to the pavilion parking lot, where bathrooms are available,
