EVENT
DATE: 12/07/2017
TIME: 10:00am - 12:30pm (prompt start, estimated end)
Leaders: Cindy (302/650-4214). The hike is 3 to 4 miles on paved trail within the park. This park has been renovated within the last few years and all areas are open. It is very flat, with great views of the Delaware River, including Commodore Barry Bridge, the Delaware Memorial Bridge and the New Jersey Shore Line. See where 19th century Wilmingtonians came to swim in the river before pollution. The trails will be windy and chilly! There is little/no shelter from the winds. There are benches along the paths. There are no park fees in December!
